The Institut d’Estudis Baleàrics (ILLENC) is organizing, in collaboration with Es Baluard, the exhibition of artists from the Balearic Islands «Emergències 10 + 1» at JustMAD9 emerging art fair that has works by Arantxa Boyero, Julià Panadès, Laia Ventayol, Lara Fluxà, Laura Marte, Laura Torres, Magdalena Planas, Mar Guerrero, María Uribe, Marina Planas and Marta Pujades.

This collective exhibition reveals the work of a selection of artists who have participated in the non-regulated training program for artists «Les Clíniques d’Es Baluard». The curators of the show are Nekane Aramburu, director of the Es Baluard and Les Clíniques, and Ignacio Cabrero, curator and coach of Les Clíniques.

«Emergències 10 + 1» is a project to promote and make visible the artists of the Balearic Islands, but also in the same geographical context as a point of contemporary artistic creation within the national and international scene. In addition, on the occasion of the project, ILLENC has published a catalog.
