ES BALUARD FEATURES NEW WEBSITE WITH ALL THE 2.0 BENEFITS
Es Baluard Museu d'Art Modern i Contemporani de Palma has now a new 2.0 website with all the features of a modern web to promote interactivity with users through a Blog and a Newsletter, completing the social networking function Es Baluard started one year ago.
Es Baluard’s site, made by Anid, is a tool with complete information on all that has taken place in the museum since its opening in 2004. Users can discover all the details on the 53 exhibitions hosted (temporary and permanent ones, as well as the Views of Es Baluard’s collection), 143 educational and cultural activities that have taken place in the museum in its nearly seven years or details about the 47 publications, mostly of the museum’s exhibitions, which Es Baluard edits since 2004. All this, and what will be added from now, in three languages (Catalan, Spanish and English).
In addition, the users can see works of the museum’s collection. This will allow to analyze the more than 500 works of the collection and the new acquisitions.
To eliminate barriers and that everyone enjoys the contents of the new website, www.esbaluard.org incorporates an accessible version, which features text format for people with visual impairments.
