RECORD OF ES BALUARD VISITORS DURING A 'NIT DE L'ART'
An amount of 8,574 people visited Es Baluard through yesterday, a day the museum celebrated open doors from 10 am to midnight because of the Nit de l'Art (Art Night) event. This is the largest number of visitors of the museum during a Nit de l'Art since it opened in 2004, more than the one of 2008, in which the museum registered 8,400 people.
Es Baluard opeend yesterday Pareidolia (+ info), an installation by Mallorcan artist Amparo Sard specially made for Es Baluard and El Corte Inglés. It was showed as well for the first time an art intervention at the walls of the Bastion of Sant Pere, the one named S.O.S., by Avelino Sala (+ info), and visitors could also enjoy "Reproductibilitat 1.0" (+ info), opened the week before and which gathers 95 works made from the second half of the 19th century and 2013.
