Within the framework of the programme Llegim juntxs la contemporaneïtat promoted by Es Baluard Museu, we include the presentation of the book Inteligencia artística. Aprende a identificar y desarrollar tu potencial creativo, from art critic and curator, Marisol Salanova. The author will join us with Antonio Fernández-Coca to talk about the issues raised in this new book published by Plataforma editorial.

Synopsis: Nowadays we enjoy creative products every day, however their preparation continues to be a kind of secret ritual for most of us who consume them. Salanova, from her professional experience, addresses in this book some of the most frequently asked questions in the art world and offers us a lever with which to open the door to creativity and its keys. By fostering our artistic intelligence we not only acquire qualities that enrich any life experience, but we also contribute to improving the world in more ways than one. With the aim of identifying and deploying our artistic potential, the author puts at our disposal all the tools that facilitate a more direct and accessible knowledge of the functioning of any creative product.

Marisol Salanova is an art critic and exhibition curator. With a degree in Philosophy from the University of Valencia and a master’s degree in Artistic Production from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, she has dedicated part of her professional career to artistic communication. She regularly works as an editor and collaborator for media outlets such as Cadena Ser, ABC Cultural, Diario Levante, Mirall Magazine and Descubrir el Arte. In 2012, together with Javier Castro, she founded Micromegas, an independent publishing house specialized in essays on art theory and cultural studies, which she co-directed for eight years. She is also a teacher and advisor to artists and collectors. In 2021 she was the curator of NFTsART. Crypto art call for digital artists where different colloquiums on NFTs and crypto art were held. Among her works, the communication she makes about art on social networks such as Instagram or TikTok stands out.
